Any Stephen King adaptation is worth savouring, but this eight-part supernatural drama is not only the author’s personal favourite of all his novels, each episode is penned by King himself. Directed by Pablo Larraín (Jackie), Lisey’s Story follows the fortunes of Lisey Landon (Julianne Moore), widow of bestselling author Scott Landon (Clive Owen), who recalls haunting memories from both her life and that of her late husband. It’s a twisty drama which demands your attention throughout and boasts an impressive strong supporting cast including Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Dane Dehaan.

This new portmanteau series of crime plays by Fionntán Larney and Stewart Shields has been described as Pulp Fiction meets In Bruges. The four stand-alone but thematically interconnected audio dramas boast an impressive roster of Irish acting talent including Paul Mescal (above), Tom Vaughan Lawlor, Peter Coonan, Clare Barrett, Niamh Mccann, Chris Walley and Alex Murphy. It launched on June 1 with Flesh, a twisted three-hander monologue written by Fionntán Larney and starring Chris Walley, Caoimhe Coburn Gray and Patrick Martins.
