Carol is at her wits’ end trying to predict who is going to come looking for the heroin, but she takes her mind o that by tearing a strip o Zak and lling him in on the chaos that took place while he was behind bars.
She also calls on Yates, hoping to nd out what’s happened to Ritchie, while Zak manages to nd out where the drugs are hidden. He asks to do a nal shift at the Station before returning to Kilkenny, and his timing couldn’t be better when the place is subsequently raided. Carol is terri ed the drugs will be found – only to discover they have already been swiped.
As Zak gives the drugs to Tommy, Carol faces o with Yates, who admits to staging the raid. Poor Bronagh is also having a hard time, and asks Cristiano to give her a bit of space. He encourages her to tell the father about the pregnancy and does everything to make her feel better, even o ering her his spare room.
Bronagh, who goes back and forth about motherhood, embraces the idea, and quips that she may be staying at Cristiano’s place for a long time, while Alex and Damien speculate about the identity of the baby’s father.
Elsewhere, Cleo decides to set her own boundaries with Lucy after warming up to her a little. However, she backtracks when Lucy becomes very intense about their friendship, even though she manages to get her and Sharon talking again.
Dolores fears the worst, and that Lucy’s just trying to get her claws into Sharon, but Pete warns her to give them a wide berth. Of course, it’s Dolores and she’s soon on to Anto and Sharon, urging them to be careful of Lucy, who manages to maintain her composure when she realises she’s getting the brush off .
Sharon asks Dolores to be more understanding, and the latter promptly asks Lucy for a meeting. Sadly, it’s bound to end badly when news about who is in Dolores’ will – and who is not – leaves Lucy raging.
Plus, Erica is unhappy as Teri makes herself at home, but Doug encourages her to give the other girl a chance, only to be morti ed when Teri irts with Pete on a karaoke night.
