Playing happy families

-

The clock is ticking for James as he tries to raise Bruce’s money, and he even considers resorting to scamming one of the villagers.

He shouldn’t count on Donna-marie to be there in his hour of need because she’s turned her back on him, but at least Ste still wants to help, despite Leela’s warnings about getting caught up with the lawyer again.

She has a good point, but perhaps Ste should also forget about James so he can concentrate on his own problems as he struggles to run the salon in Sienna’s absence. He’s forced to turn to Ethan, and together they come up with a plan of action, unaware someone is watching them.

Leela later makes a discovery that leaves her fearing for her brother’s safety, but things could be about to get even worse.

The finger of suspicion for a serious crime points straight at Ethan, which is bad news for Sam. He tells Zoe that while sneaking around has been fun, he’s ready to go official with their relationship and potentially meet each other’s families. However, Saul warns her that it might not be the best career move to get involved with a crime suspect’s nephew.

Meanwhile, Sienna and Warren are enjoying playing happy families, but that is brought to an abrupt end when Norma threatens their children. It proves she’s not someone to be messed with, but could Norma also have another reason for wanting to get Warren’s attention? As Ollie makes arrangements for Thierry’s adoptive parents to bring the little boy to the village, his family warn him that he needs to tell Brooke about his plan. The decision is taken out of his hands when Cindy puts her foot in it, and Brooke is later shocked to come face to face with their son.

Over at Hollyoaks High, Olivia secretly seethes when Yazz gets a glowing appraisal from Sally, and she only grows more jealous after Tom lets slip about Yazz’s history with Prince. So, when the school newspaper later goes to print with a slanderous headline about John Paul, it seems that Olivia has sabotaged her ‘rival’.

Cleo has some serious thinking to do after she is offered an exciting new job abroad and Theresa is determined to help her make the right decision. Zara steps up her campaign, and Shaq returns, ready to throw himself into planning the wedding – until he realises how much it will cost.
