Playing happy families
The clock is ticking for James as he tries to raise Bruce’s money, and he even considers resorting to scamming one of the villagers.
He shouldn’t count on Donna-marie to be there in his hour of need because she’s turned her back on him, but at least Ste still wants to help, despite Leela’s warnings about getting caught up with the lawyer again.
She has a good point, but perhaps Ste should also forget about James so he can concentrate on his own problems as he struggles to run the salon in Sienna’s absence. He’s forced to turn to Ethan, and together they come up with a plan of action, unaware someone is watching them.
Leela later makes a discovery that leaves her fearing for her brother’s safety, but things could be about to get even worse.
The finger of suspicion for a serious crime points straight at Ethan, which is bad news for Sam. He tells Zoe that while sneaking around has been fun, he’s ready to go official with their relationship and potentially meet each other’s families. Over at Hollyoaks High, Olivia secretly seethes when Yazz gets a glowing appraisal from Sally, and she only grows more jealous after Tom lets slip about Yazz’s history with Prince.
