Streaming: LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland, Friday, Prime Video Hosted by our cover star, Graham Norton, this new Irish comedy series features an eclectic mix of well-known Irish comedians, including Aisling Bea, Deirdre O’kane and David Mcsavage. Their task is to make their fellow comics laugh by any means possible – without cracking so much as a smile themselves. Whoever outlasts the other competitor­s will be crowned the first winner of LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland and win a prize of €50,000 for a charity of their choice.

Streaming: Cristobal Balenciaga, Friday, Disney + In this eagerly-awaited series, Alberto San Juan plays Cristóbal Balenciaga, an enigmatic and talented man who defied the social convention­s of the time and revolution­ised the world of fashion. It begins as the designer presents his first Parisian haute couture collection in 1937. He has left behind a successful career in his ateliers in Madrid and San Sebastian, dressing the Spanish elite. However, the designs that had set the trend in Spain don’t quite work in the sophistica­ted fashion empire that Paris has become, where Chanel, Dior and Givenchy are the benchmark of haute couture.

This original anime drama begins with a mysterious explosion at a local factory, following which a town is frozen in time. The residents are suddenly forced to relive the same day over and over again. But when a mysterious girl arrives, it upsets the balance of the world.

Radio: The Blues Show with Cerys Matthews, Monday, BBC Radio 2 The Welsh musician welcomes Irish blues singer Muireann Bradley to perform live in the studio. Muireann released her debut album, I Kept These Old Blues, in the month she turned 17. For the album, Muireann recorded her versions of great blues tunes which were originally recorded between the 1920s and 1970s by the likes of Elizabeth Cotton, Mississipp­i John Hurt and Blind Blake.
