It’s set to be a very bleak Christmas for Sally when she learns that her sister, Gina has slept with her husband, Tim. Guilty Tim is concerned when he receives a visiting order from Sally, and Eileen urges him to go through with it. As he sets o , Faye tells him that she knows he slept with Gina. Sally is devastated when Tim doesn’t show up for the visit. Back on the Street, Faye is unperturbe­d by the Gina and Tim situation but Sophie is disgusted. Tim visits Sally on Christmas Day and drops the bombshell.

Elsewhere, Jenny can’t shake o the feeling that Johnny might be holding a torch for Liz, and she hits the bottle when she learns that Liz has cancelled a holiday to be around for Christmas. Meanwhile, Gemma gets in her head that Johnny is being abusive towards Jenny.

It’s not a case of once bitten, twice shy for Audrey. She has been taken in by despicable Lewis once again and he runs rings round her. She is inconsolab­le when she suspects that he has stolen her inheritanc­e. Gail and David start to worry about Audrey’s mental state.

Mary’s private eye tells her that he has tracked her son, Jude, to Blackpool and she ropes Roy into helping her retrieve him. When she nds him, he tells her he owes the B&B £500. Foolish Mary heads o to get the money and Jude tells his new girlfriend - who believes he is a surgeon - that Mary is one of his patients.
