Religious broadcasts

From 4.00pm RTÉ Radio 1

Today features a number of spiritual broadcasts, including the Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols from St Patrick’s Cathedral, dublin, which is led by the dean of St Patrick’s, the Most rev William Morton. it goes out at 4.00pm on RTÉ radio 1.

it is followed by Like Family at Christmas at 8.00pm, in which Brenda donohue hears from Polish families living in ireland. Then, at 11.00pm, Midnight Mass is broadcast live from the Church of the immaculate Conception in Ashbourne-donaghmore, Co Meath, celebrated by Fr derek darby. This is a simulcast on RTÉ One and RTÉ radio 1 extra.
