This is the story of Offaly’s historic 1982 Allireland Gaelic Football Final victory over the all-conquering Kerry side.
The film follows the great Kerry team as they travelled to Croke Park with immortality in their hands. Gaelic Football’s five-in-a-row had never been achieved. However, Offaly – one of the least-fancied teams ever to contest an Allireland final – had other plans. The rest, as they say, is history.
With contributions from the key men, including Seamus Darby (right) this is the story of how a county, with staggeringly high unemployment rates in the 1980s, shocked Irish sport.
