Christmas Carol, was instrumental in establishing many of the festive traditions that we all still follow. Dan Stevens takes on the role of the famous-but-struggling author whose harsh background, immediate family and social conscience would all find their way into the famous novel. Shot on location in Dublin and Wicklow (watch out for many familiar landmarks and faces), The Man Who Invented Christmas is a charming, wellacted (Ger Ryan and Anna Murphy, take a bow) tale that won’t do sales of Dickens’ Christmas tale any harm.
