Get ahead desserts
Here are some suggestions to save time and get some sweet treats prepped and ready to go
Trifles – no need to make the custard – there are
great brands out there so keep it simple.
A semifreddo – berry-flavoured ones are always a
favourite in my family.
Roulades freeze very well; just allow sufficient time
for defrosting.
Another firm favourite with my family is a delicious vanilla panna cotta, which always tastes and looks amazing.
Prepare sauces 4 to 5 days ahead of time: a yummy
coulis or salted caramel will add a wow factor!
