Bunnies opt for Willie G

GAA: Bunninadden GAA Club have turned to one of their own with the intention of bringing the good times back. Bunninadden native and former player Willie Gormley has been appointed the club’s Senior team boss. Gormley, pictured above, who guided Tubbercurry to the Sligo Senior Football Championship title in 2014, also had spells as manager of St Molaise Gaels, IT Sligo and Donegal’s Bundoran.

Bunninadden were Sligo IFC finalists in 2019 and previously second tier champions nine years ago. When the club won the Owen B Hunt Cup in

2000 – only their second ever Sligo SFC success – Gormley was part of the winning team.
