Leetch return for St Nathy’s

LADIES FOOTBALL: George Leetch is back as manager of St Nathy’s LGFA Club’s Senior team.

The Mayo native was at the helm two years ago when St Nathy’s won county and provincial honours and progressed to the LGFA All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship semi-final, losing by a point to Belfast club St Paul’s. Leetch was named Club Coach of the Year at the LGFA National Volunteer Awards for 2019. His replacement in 2020, James McDonagh, has taken up a coaching role with Bunninadden’s Gaelic footballers.

St Nathy’s have qualified for the Connacht LGFA Senior Club Championship final – a date for which has yet to be finalised – following last October’s semi-final defeat of Kilbride.
