Grange is shining again after its big spring clean

-

THE annual spring clean took place in Grange at the weekend. Because of Covid restrictions this year’s event was a bit different to previous years as people could not work close together in groups. So to comply with social distancing requirements everyone went out at different times and did their own area.

But it still proved very effective with numerous bags of rubbish being lifted from the village, its surrounds and Streedagh Beach over last Friday and Saturday.

Local council Marie Casserly thanked all the volunteers who took part in the clean up and also the local authority for their co-operation.
