SLIGO HURLERS
SEASON SO FAR: Impressive. Two highscoring home wins in Division 3A, with 2-24 notched against Armagh and 5-23 blasted past Longford, is certainly building on last year’s Division 3B success.
BEST PLAYER: Gerard O’Kelly-Lynch. The team’s attacking talisman has scored 4-20 so far and is part of an effective attack in which newcomer Thomas Cawley has shone.
NEXT GAME: Padraig Mannion’s charges can secure promotion – with a game to spare – if Tyrone are beaten at O’Neill’s Omagh’s Healy Park on Saturday afternoon.
