COURSE ACTION Ciaran Henry continues to impress – last Friday his superb five under par score included an eagle on the fifth and a double bogey six on the 12th. He also tallied five birdies on his way to victory.

RESULTS The results from the men’s stableford held on Saturday last, June 5, were as follows: 1, David Kiely (26) 42pts; 2, Billy Brennan (12) 41pts; 3, Paul Cox (5) 40pts.

RESULTS There was a men’s stableford played on Sunday last, June 6. The results were as follows: 1, John Stewart (9) 41pts; 2, Martin O’Hara (20) 40pts; 3, John Hannon (21) 39pts.

RESULTS The results of the stableford that took place on Bank Holiday Monday, June 7, were as follows: 1, Aidan McGowan (12) 37pts; 2, Thomas O’Flaherty (16) 36pts; 3, Paul Keaveney (17) 35pts.

FIXTURES Today, Thursday, there is an 18-hole singles stableford for members of the club’s Ladies Branch. Tomorrow, Friday, there is an open competition (mixed singles stableford).

Saturday’s competition is a men’s singles stableford – sponsored by Diverse Print. The Val Harte Cup, a men’s singles stroke play competition (regular), is also scheduled for Saturday. There are singles stableford competitions for Ladies Branch members on the Saturday and Sunday. This Sunday’s competition for the men is a stableford sponsored by Quality Meats.
