SYMPATHY: Sympathy is extended to Fiona Kelly (née White) and daughters Sarah and Ciara on the death of her husband Noel Kelly retired Garda superintendent, formerly of the Corner House Tuam and Claregalway, mother-inlaw Bernadette and father-in-law Al White, brother-in-law Seán and Jackie, Dublin, sister-in-law Celene and Dino, Ballinacarrow nieces and nephews brothers and sisters-in-law. Noel will be sadly missed by his family, neighbours and many friends.

This is a reminder to everyone following the Euro match between Denmark and Finland where Christian Eriksen had to be resuscitated and thankfully survived – how very important it is to have a defibrilator in every area.

MASSES: Mass has resumed in the Church of St Fechin and St Lassara, Ballinacarrow, on Saturday, May 15, at 6.30pm and Sunday, May 16, at 9.30. Please keep two metres distance in church, 50 people are allowed to attend Mass, funeral Masses and weddings, baptisms (both parents, two Godparents, the priest and the baby are all that is allowed to attend. No gatherings outside the church before or after Mass. First Confession/
First Communion will take place in September/October 2021. Use of the church or Halls for any other purposes/community meetings are not permitted in line with Government restrictions on organised indoor gatherings.
MASSES: Masses from Collooney Church are being broadcast via webcam on churchservices.tv (search Sligo Churches and click on Collooney https: churchservices.tv/collooney. All Church services will be broadcast from now on via this channel.
FARMERS’ MARKET: The Farmers’ Market continues in Achonry every Saturday morning from 10pm to 1pm. Great selection of fruit, vegetables, eggs and many more items on display.
