ROUNDERS
Rounders for adult and underage club members (Minor, U-15, U-13 and U-10) continue every Monday (6.30-8pm). This sport caters for male and female players – it is the only GAA sport that has mixed teams at every level.

Weekly tickets for the club lotto – which is a combined fundraiser with Eoghan Rua LGFA Club – can be purchased online or at various local outlets, including Bernie’s Shop, Cavanagh Meats and Easkey Post Office.
Drumcliffe-Rosses Point
OWEN B HUNT CUP
For the group stage of this year’s Sligo SFC, Drumcliffe-Rosses Point have been placed in Group Two along with holders Tourlestrane, Geevagh, Coolaney-Mullinabreena and Shamrock Gaels. The top two in this section qualify for the semi-finals. The Sligo SFC begins on the second weekend of August.
LADIES FOOTBALL
Three players from Drumcliffe-Rosses Point – Ruth Flanagan, Izzy Henry, Rianne Smith – were part of the Sligo LGFA Girls U-16 panel that defeated Leitrim last Friday evening at Ballisodare in a Connacht LGFA U-16 Championship fixture.
Maeve Casserly captained the Sligo LGFA Minor team for the Connacht LGFA Minor Championship fixture at home to Mayo on Wednesday of last week. Two of Maeve’s Drumcliffe-Rosses Point clubmates, Caoimhe Connor and Keela Scanlon, were also part of this Sligo team.
Coolera-Strandhill
LADIES FOOTBALL
Coolera-Strandhill are through to the Sligo LGFA Senior League Division Three semi-final following last Sunday’s defeat of St Patrick’s, 2-14 to 2-4. Coolera-Strandhill had two players, Aoife Cradock and Megan Bohan, on the Sligo LGFA Girls U-14 panel that took on Mayo in the opening round of the Connacht LGFA U-14 Championship. Ruth Goodwin, an adult Ladies Football with Coolera-Strandhill, is part of the Sligo LGFA Girls U-14 management. Aoife Gormley is part of the Sligo LGFA Girls U-16 panel – they defeated Leitrim last Friday.
