Alan McLoughlin and Dean Carroll, each of whom contributed five points, were among the St Molaise Gaels scorers in the first-half, with Conor Watters also on target in the opening period for last year’s Intermediate finalists.
St Molaise Gaels finished with 13 players due to two bookings for centre-forward Paddy McGowan and a black card for full-back Robbie Ryan. The winners’ fourth goal was scored by substitute James Heraghty.
