PLAY THERAPY: Play Therapy takes place on Monday and Thursdays between 9am and 5pm.

FRIENDLY CALL SERVICE: Ballymote FRC are in the process of setting up a friendly call service open to people living in the area who would like to receive a weekly call from one of our volunteers to check in and say hi. If you are interested in receiving this service please give us a call at 071 9197818.

SENSORY ROOM: We have a fully equipped sensory room at the centre which is available for use by any families with children who experience sensory issues. Use of the room is free and limited to single family units. To book please call 071 9197818.

DESIGN YOUR OWN GIFTS: This crafting course will be running from April-June in the afternoons. In this course you will learn to make your own memory books, wreaths, bags and brooches. The total cost of this course is €20. Call 071 9197818 or email ballymotef­rc@gmail.com to book a place.

WALKING GROUP: The walking group leaves from Ballymote FRC from 10.30am and returns at 11.30am every Tuesday. Call 071 9197818 to book a place.

BABY BOPPERS: This is a music, movement and sensory class suitable for three months to threeyear-olds. The class will be starting on April 27 and there will be four classes. The cost for four sessions is €20. Places are limited. Call 071 9197818 to book a place.

CONVERSATI­ON HOUR: This conversati­on hour is aimed at anyone who wants to practice speaking English. It will be running every Wednesday from 2pm to 3pm. Call 071 9197818 to book a place. WALK FOR UKRAINE FUNDRAISER:

The staff and supporters of the Ballymote Family Resource Centre plan to walk, run or cycle 3247km – the exact distance between Sligo and Kiev – over the coming weeks to raise money for the people of the Ukraine where countless lives are being torn apart by violence and insecurity. Displaceme­nt, trauma, and separation from loved ones will have devastatin­g consequenc­es on the people of Ukraine. Please help today if you can. Donations will go directly to the Irish Red Cross.
