Rathlee’s Jeremy Geraghty selected as 2022 Rose Escort

SLIGO will also have another connection with the Rose event this year as one of the escorts to the Roses is Jeremy Geraghty, who is from Rathlee in west Sligo.

Getting selected as an escort is also quite a coup as there is huge competition for those roles.

Having completed the Rose Escort Bootcamp in early June, which consisted of a host of outdoor activities across Dingle and the Kerry coastline, the final selection of escorts was confirmed, and Jeremy made the cut and is now one of the 33 Benetti Menswear Rose Escorts 2022 for the festival.

The escorts do OK too from the festival – they are gifted with attire from the Benetti Menswear brand for the live TV shows and the winner of the Benetti Menswear Rose Escort of the year will receive a prize valued at €2k, from Benetti Menswear.
