Training for Speech and Language therapists

You are invited to attend our online Practice Educator training session for Speech and Language Therapists. This training (which is free) is suitable for SLTs who are new to the role of Practice Educator and for Practice Educators who would like to refresh their training in the practice education of students.

The Workshop includes: SCCE Training – complete coverage of the National Student Clinical Competency Evaluation.

Practical focus – updated content includes more real-world examples to explore decision-making and enhance management of student performance.

What to expect from a UL SLT Student Placement – overview of the UL SLT Practice Education Programme, student documentation and additional supports offered by UL PE team & online resources. An opportunity to ask questions and discuss ideas for placement opportunities in your setting.

Accessing the Training.

The training session will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and a link will be shared with you upon successful registration for this workshop via Eventbrite. There is no cost to attend but we do ask that you book ahead to reserve your place. Bookings will close on the 9th of September 2022.
