ENNISCRONE LADIES

RESULTS: The results of last weekend’s 18-hole stableford, sponsored by Halmac Hardware, Enniscrone, were as follows: 1, Ann Healy (27) 41pts; 2, Marguerite Murphy (18) 39pts.

CASTLE DARGAN

INTER-CLUB: Castle Dargan’s Connacht Shield team were beaten by Tubbercurry on Tuesday of last week. The Tubbercurry team are wished all the best in the competition’s next round.

On Saturday last, Castle Dargan took on Mayo’s Mulranny in the provincial semi-final of the Jack O’Sullivan Trophy. Castle Dargan, who had two matches at home and three away, were beaten on the day. The Castle Dargan selection was captained by Paul McGonigle. Club members and supporters are thanked for cheering on the team during its season.

Club president Pauline Lennon held her competition last Sunday. Despite the weather conditions it was a great day – the club thanks Pauline for hosting such a brilliant event. The results were as follows: 1, Ray O’Grady 70 nett; 2, Paul McGonigle 71 nett; 3, Diarmaid Fallon 72 nett; 4, Daire Kearns 75 nett.

The competition’s lowest gross (76) was posted by winner Ray O’Grady.

RESULTS: The results of the open stableford competition held on Friday, September 2, and Saturday, September 3, were as follows: 1, Daire Kearns 38pts; 2, Krzysztof Drazkowiak 34pts; 3, Wilfred Bourke 31pts. Harry Graham 33pts; 3, James Fallon 29pts. The competition sponsors were Flynn’s Foodstore, Collooney.

The open stableford taking place tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday is sponsored by Dermot G McDermott Solicitors. Sunday’s stableford competition is sponsored by StoryLab.
