GOLF PALS: Members of the Castle Dargan Golf Club Ladies Branch and lady captain Carol Murphy Keaveney pictured in Galway recently where they held their away weekend, which included a competition at Athenry Golf Club.

On the weekend before last, September 17-18, the club’s Ladies Branch had its away weekend with lady captain Carol Murphy Keaveney, who brought the group to her home county of Galway. There was fantastic golf savoured at Athenry Golf Club’s parkland course in superb weather conditions. They stayed at the Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry.
