Annual SHOUT Ladies Luncheon takes place in December at Park Hotel

THE Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust is organising the return of the annual SHOUT Ladies Luncheon in the Sligo Park Hotel on Friday, December 2.

The tickets will go on sale at the Sligo Park Hotel on Saturday, October 29 at 11am. Tickets are priced at €65. SHOUT was originally established in 2003 with the aim of targeting fundraising initiatives to benefit both the service and patients in the provision of better Cancer Care for the region.

The committee comprises of Sligo University Hospital specialist staff and members of the Sligo Community.

SHOUT is dedicated to proactively supporting cancer patients and their families through their cancer journey by: Supplementing existing services for patients in the North West Region which can cover Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo and Cavan; Financial Support to patients and their Families; Purchase relevant

equipment for patient comfort on the Oncology Day ward and the inpatient Haematology / Oncology ward; Cancer related research.

SHOUT has worked over the past 19 years in the provision of “Better Cancer Care” in the region.

This has been achieved, with the hard work and commitment of all those who worked on behalf of the Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust or donated to SHOUT.
