Last Saturday a group from the club’s men’s section had their annual away trip to Blacklion Golf Club. While the weather wasn’t kind, there was good golf and the organisers were delighted to see members enjoy the day and then the dinner at the Riversbank Bar & Restaurant. Vice-captain Adrian McGoldrick is thanked for organising the event.
The club’s popular Winter League begins this weekend. This season’s competition will be sponsored by Pet Stop Discount
Warehouse & Fuel Centre. The Winter League will take place over nine weekends. Each stableford round will be played over nine holes – the best four cards will count. Visitors can take part for an entry fee of €50. The fee for members is €10. There are an array of prizes on offer, including Christmas turkeys sponsored by Tony Wasylocha Butchers, Riverstown.
