This Saturday Led Zepagain, a Led Zeppelin tribute act, will perform live at Anderson’s.

Sligo Credit Union anniversary event
Please join Sligo Credit Union on Saturday from 10.30am to 1.30pm to celebrate their official launch, and two years of being in Wine Street, Sligo.
Ocean FM is broadcasting live for the morning, with Mike Gillespie presenting the show, Gourmet Parlour is providing treats, there will be face painting for children, plus there are giveaways on the day!
The building, which was previously the Clarence Hotel, was bought by Sligo Credit Union in 2018 after a lengthy search.

The Logues in The Garavogue

On Saturday, November 12 These Charming Men the premier tribute to The Smiths return to play Anderson’s Live in Sligo.
The show gets under way at 9pm.
Coaching Children Workshop
Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership will be hosting the Sport Ireland Coaching ‘Coaching Children Workshop Series’.
Coaching Ireland have developed 4 modules, specifically to provide coaches with a basic understanding of children’s sport and physical activity and best ways to optimise children’s enjoyment, participation and positive outcomes. The concepts of Physical Literacy and Holistic Development run throughout the series of workshops. Each workshop is three hours in duration and is a combination of theory and practical learning, each coach will receive a bank of games covering balance, co-ordination, speed & agility and inclusive & adaptive games. Workshop dates:
Monday, November 7 - 6.30pm - 9.30pm; Monday, November 14 6.30pm - 9.30pm; Monday, November 21 - 6.30pm - 9.30pm; Monday, November 28 - 6.30pm - 9.30pm

Mike Denver at the Diamond Coast
Tomorrow, Friday Mike Denver will take to the stage at the Diamond Coast Hotel.
Mike Denver, known as “The Galway Boy”, is one of Ireland’s top Entertainers, Born and raised in the town of Portumna in the west of Ireland he began singing from an early age continuously honing his craft and performing local shows to eventually become the entertainer he is today. Mike started touring at the age of 16 signing with Willie Carty entertainment who has stayed by his side ever since. Mike truly loves what he does and appreciates all his fans and friends throughout Country music and can’t wait to see you at a show again real soon.

Spilt Milk Festival at The Model
After three years of multi-venue hopping around various pubs, clubs, galleries, cafes and spaces across Sligo town, Spilt MIlk, the northwest festival dedicated to experimental and alternative sounds, returns to The Model, its new primary home. Over three days, from 18th to 20th November, the festival will once again prod the margins of Ireland’s leftfield musical spheres.
For the fourth edition, the curatorial approach remains unchanged with this year’s line up featuring a mix of returning faces, some in new guises, along with a selection of debuts and rare appearances from Ireland’s experimental, electronic, punk and folk scenes. Spilt Milk is curated by Binder, formerly Art for Blind and Commissioned by The Model, funded by the Arts Council. Tickets are on sale now from The Model and www.themodel.ie.
The Drew House Band
Dubliners legend Ronnie Drew is to be remembered by son Phelim and The Drew House Band in a special concert at the Hawk’s Well on Friday, November 18. Ronnie’s is the iconic voice behind Dubliners hits such as Seven Drunken Nights and The Irish River and is widely regarded as one of the most iconic folk singers in Irish history. His son Phelim Drew, a well known actor, will host the poignant night, telling a few yarns and singing some of the songs made famous by The Dubliners.
