AN amazing picture of waves at Mullaghmore was selected as the overall winning entry in this year’s Love Your Coast photography competition. The photo, titled ‘Splash’ was captured by
Darragh Gorman who has been a frequent visitor to Mullaghmore, camera in hand, to freeze the famous waves in a moment in time.Meanwhile, in the Coastal Heritage section, Brian Campbell ‘Splash’ by Darragh Gorman, the overall winning entry in the Love Yoir Coast competition. ‘In The Shadow of a Giant!’, the Coast Heritage section winning entry by Brian Campbell. was first place with ‘In The Shadow of a Giant’, a stunning image of Classiebawn Castle and Benbulben. In the People and the Coast section, Gary McCall won for his photo of Conor Maguire taking on the largest wave ever ridden in Ireland at Mullaghmore.
