ABBA Sensations at The Garavogue

Holistic Angel Fair in Clayton Hotel

On Sunday, November 27, there will be a holistic and angel fair at the Clayton Hotel starting at 10.45am. Come along and meet your local and internatio­nal Holistic therapists, psychics, Angel card readers and gifts and craft workers. Readings and treatments available to enjoy on the day with some special offers available. The entry fee of €4 gives you entry to our prize draw, distance angelic healing and access to all workshops. Come and go as often as you please and take some time out to relax and soak up the wonderful atmosphere, meet some lovely folk and enjoy your treatments and readings.

Knit night in Cliffoney

Every Tuesday evening Knit Night will take place in O’Donnells pub in Cliffoney from 7.30pm to. 9.30pm. Beat the fuel bills this winter with some new knits to keep you warm! Informal meet-up for a chat and some crafting. All ages are welcome.

Johnny Gallagher and Boxtie Band

Open mic story telling in Lillies

On Friday, November 25, the monthly open-mic night for story telling will take place at Lillies Cocktail Bar.

Every month they have a theme, and anyone in the audience can get up to tell a true story based on the theme. The theme is “the powers that be”. Expect stories of run-ins with the Gardaí, the weather changing plans, coincidenc­es and parents with different ideas.

Sign up at the door to tell your story, or just take a seat and join for the craic! This is a free event, and there’s a free drink token for every storytelle­r. Starts at 7.30pm.

Amy O’Hara album launch

Amy O’Hara will perform live at The Factory.

Amy’s joyful and light hearted outlook on life and her desire to find light and laughter in the dark is reflected in the satire and humour of her lyrics, addressing complex and serious themes with a persistent spirit of glee.

St Nathy’s Tractor Run

On Sunday, November 27, St.Nathy’s will be hosting a tractor run starting at the community centre in Bunnanadde­n.

Annual tractor run is back with a bang- sticking to the same theme as 2019.

Loads of fun promised on the day with elves and Santa making an appearance. There will also be lots of brilliant prizes that will be up for offer on the day.

Dirty Dusting at the Hawk’s Well

On Sunday, November 20 Mansworth Production­s Ltd are thrilled to return for a third run of the hilarious play Dirty Dusting following two sell out nationwide tours, starring the inimitable Mary Byrne of X Factor alongside Pop Singer and Dancing With The Stars winner Jake Carter.

Kids’ Own conference

Own will host their 25th anniversar­y conference at The Model.

Join them for panels, discussion­s and workshops, covering early years arts practice, children’s creativity and authorship, social inclusion and more.

Sligo Rovers Fans Forum

Sligo Rovers will hold a Fan’s Forum on Wednesday, November 30 at 8pm at The Clayton Hotel with supporters free to attend the event with men’s first team manager John Russell, assistant manager Ryan Casey and members of Sligo Rovers Management.

The agenda for the forum will be an update from John on his plans for 2023 and general clu b updates looking ahead to next year and beyond, with supporters having an opportunit­y to ask questions from the floor.

Rory and the Island

On Thursday, December 8, Rory and the Island will perform live in Andersons Sligo. This is part of his national Xmas tour.

A great night of original music and craic is in store. Starts at 7.30pm.
