WEDDING: Congratula­tions and best wishes for the future to Jarlath Monaghan Coolaney and Lisa McNama who were married in the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Jospeh Rockfield Coolaney on Sunday December 31.

BIRTHDAY: Belated birthday wishes to Colette McGuinn who celebrated her birthday on Christmas Day December 25 from her family, neighbours and many friends.

SYMPATHY: Sincere sympathy is extended to husband Paddy, sons Sean, Padraig, Declan, Joseph and Brian, daughters Maire and Sharon, brother Johny Kane, grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews on the death of Mary Fahey Ballinacar­row on Monday December 25. The funeral took place after 12 noon Mass in the Church of St Fechin and St Lassara in Kilvarney cemetery. Mary will be sorely missed by her family, neighbours and many friends. Rest in peace Mary.

Funeral took place to Kilvarnet cemetery after 11 am Mass in the Church of St Fechin and St Lassara Ballinacar­row on Wednesday January 3. Annie will be sadly missed by her family, neighbours and many friends. Rest in peace Annie.

SOCIAL DANCING CLASSES: Takes place every Friday in the community centre Buninadden at 9pm. Learn to jive, quick step, foxtrot, slow waltz, old time waltz with a mixture of live dances and sloshes for good measure and fun. Refreshmen­ts will be served. CARDS: The card game resumes in the community centre in Ballinacar­row tonight, Thursday at 9pm. Great social night out looking forward to meeting our card playing friends again and everyone welcome.

CHURCH WEBCAM: St Fechin and St Lassara Church, Ballinacar­row now has its own webcam. It can be found on www.churchtv. ie/ballinacar­row. It can also be accessed through the parish website-www.kilvarnetp­arish. com/webcam. Because ut relies 5G mobile broadband , the camera will only be turned on during Mass times and at the discretion off the Celebrant. Hopefully this new venture will be of benefit to those far and near who have connectiob­s with Ballinacar­row.

INDOOR MARKET: Please join Rathcormac­k Christmas Indoor Market feauturing the Sligo Christmas Choir and the Sligo Cancer Support choir on the following dates: November 25, December 2, 9 and 16, as well as enjoying the Christmas music and cheer it will be supporting two very worthy charities, the Sligo Cancer Support Hroup and SHOUT. Lookibg forward to seeing everyone there.

PLEASE REMEMBER: To bring home old/unwanted wreaths and flowers from the cemeteries. Such items, if discarded around the cemetery, becomes an eyesore and are not befitting the resting place of our loved ones.

ROCKFIELD NATIONAL SCHOOL FUNDRAISER LOTTO: This is a fundraisin­g initiative the money raised will be used to directly support your childrens education. Purchase resources inclding outdoor play facilities and sensory room.

Projects such as the new playground and an all weather astro turf pitch are being explored and many more valuable and exciting initiavies that require a budget such as the expansion of IT euipment and additional outdoor play euipment.

A weekly option of one line for €2.50 or 3 lines for €5. Please support this very worthy cause.
