GAA HEALTHY CLUB: Nace O’Dowd Walking track will light up each morning at 6am and from 5pm to 10pm each evening to facilitate the Every Step Counts challenge to promote a healthier lifestyle within the community. The Coolaney/

Mullinabre­ena Team began their five week walking challenge to collective­ly walk as many kilometres as possible as part of the Every Step Counts program on Monday last. Group walks will take place from Coolaney astro pitch on Monday/ Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7 30pm. High Viz and a torch required by all. Everyone Welcome! (Join Today). ST NATHY’S LGFA GALA DANCE: St Nathy’s LGFA annual gala dinner dance will take place on the 13th of January at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa, Sligo. Drinks reception begins at 7pm followed by a 3 course meal with DJ Tommy Finan to have you dancing the night away. Adult tickets are 40. Children Strictly Under 14 are 25. Tickets can be purchased online through Clubforce.

PRIZE DRAW WINNERS: Coolaney Mullinabre­ena 2023 Draw took place on Sunday January 7th last. Lucia Johnston was the lucky recipient of the 1st prize, a €1000 Centre Parc Voucher. 2nd prize of €500 went to Ciara Forkan, 3rd prize of a Castle Dargan voucher was won by Muireann Henry, 4th prize of a Killaloe Hotel was won by Regina Henry and 5th prize of Sligo Park Hotel Voucher was won by Norma Grey. Congratula­tions to all winners.

MARKET REOPENS: After a well deserved break Achonry Farmers Market will return this Saturday for your weekly shopping and treats.

It is great to have such an amenity close by and your continued support will keep this service within the community, all while supporting small businesses.

ADORATION : There will be adoration in Mullinabre­ena Church 4pm-7pm on Tuesdays for the month of January.
