Now that the dark evenings have arrived perhaps it is a good time to think of our elderly or living alone neighbors and give them a telephone call to let them know you are thinking of them and available to assist if needed.,

REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE CAMPAIGN:

We are appealing to all Carraroe residents to join the campaign to reduce use of paper, packaging and recycle as much as possible. Your efforts no matter how small will assist the environmen­t and reduce our national carbon footprint. Remember every little individual effort counts. Promote the campaign by displaying Carraroe car sticker available from 0892459123.

CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY: TRANSPORT CONSULTATI­ON TONIGHT:

Sligo Public Participat­ion Network has organised a consultati­on workshop this evening Thursday, at 7pm in Clayton Hotel. The consultati­on will be facilitate­d by Patrick Mulvihill Consultant to garner the views of people of County Sligo on future transport needs in our community. This feedback will inform the Sligo County Council Draft County Developmen­t Plan Transport

Section and will also provide evidence to the proposed Transport Forum being establishe­d under Sligo Vision 2030 plan. All welcome.
