We are appealing to all Carraroe residents to join the campaign to reduce use of paper, packaging and recycle as much as possible. Now that the dark evenings have arrived perhaps it is a good time to think of our elderly or living alone neighbors and give them a telephone call to let them know you are thinking of them and available to assist if needed.
Our community Spring Clean is registered to take place on Saturday, March 23– more details later. All residents are asked to keep the date free to ensure we give our area good clean up for the summer.

A parking and traffic management protocol is agreed by Board of Management, Residents, Parents Association and Sligo County Council and is in place for a number of years. The purpose is to assist in ensuring easier flow of traffic around the school area. Parents are requested to observe the arrangement in interest of all.

REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE: CARRAROE PARISH NEWS:
We are working on forming a Youth Choir in the Parish. The invitation will be extended to sixth class and beyond to take part in this choir. Local parishioners and some members of the school staff will help with the project. Further information will be available later in the month.

CADRA would urge all eligible residents to avail of the scheme as it a great comfort and support to people. Anyone over 65 is eligible.

On behalf of everyone associated with our Club, we offer our sincerest condolences to all the family of the late Kieran Cavanagh, formally of Easkey, who passed away this week in Dublin. During our Culleens Carnival days back in the late 70's and early 80's he was the one who secured all the bands over the four years. He always gave good advice and had all
