Associatio­n of St Michael’s NS are holding a Table Quiz on the Friday 23 next. The quiz will be in Meehan’s May Queen in Tubbercurr­y and promises to be a great night. Note 8pm start. Lots of spot prizes. All welcome.

Sympathy is extended to Mary Harte and family Ballintogh­er on the death of her father Michael Strogen, Ballina who’s funeral took place this week. May he rest in Peace

Set Dancing takes place every Tuesday night in Ballintogh­er Hall 8.30pm to 10pm. Come Along and bring a friend.

School Enrolment 2024 St Theresa’s National School Ballintogh­er. Enrolment forms will be available from the school from 22nd January. Applicatio­n forms should be returned to the school on or before May 20.

Tubbercurr­y FRC will host a Connect Cafe today, Thursday from 10am-12 noon. This is a free drop in Café, all are welcome to come for a chat, meet a friend & find out what is happening locally. A friendly face awaits.

Social Club for people with Alzheimer’s, Dementia or memory loss and their family and supporters is back today, Thursday at 1.30pm. Maria Ward Music Therapist will be there for some dance revival. Contact FRC on 0719186926 for more details.

Mass Monday to Friday 10am in Mullinabre­ena, and 8pm in Achonry. To save any confusion the Saturday vigil Masses from the beginning of Lent will also be at 8pm. Adoration in Achonry Church 4-7pm on Tuesdays for the month of February.

Carn NS enrolment for new infants is planned to take place from February 2 onwards with the closing date February 23 at 1pm.

EASTERN HARPS 50/50: SCHOOL ENROLMENT: MEDJUGORJE PILGRIMAGE:

Ballymote St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee really needs volunteers, especially stewards, to help out on the big day so please if you can spare a few hours on March 17, please get in touch.

Would you like to be part of a team walking with the parade to ensure it passes safely through the streets on March 17th in Sligo Town? Some volunteers will also be required to man junctionsY­ou will buddy up with an experience­d steward. There are refreshmen­ts afterwards!

SLIGO VOLUNTEER CENTRE:

Calling all knitters or budding knitters! Would you like to attend a weekly knitting session along with people who are new to Sligo? While knitting, there will be an opportunit­y to chat and engage with participan­ts, which will make people feel welcome to their new area. Tea and coffee provided.
