As part of the Leap Project every Thursday morning at 10.30am the new Crafters Club meets in Easkey Courthouse. Everyone is welcome to join them.

The Mill Café will host our community’s annual fundraiser in aid of North West Hospice this coming Saturday, 2 March. All monies taken in the café on that day will be donated. Please support in big numbers and as generously as possible.

Another great year for the Cloonacool 5K road race this year with the winner setting a new course record. There were over 300 entrants in the event, between walkers and runners. The new course record was 14.52 and was set by John Travers Donore Harriers – needless to say, he was the winner. Huge thanks to or local GAA club for organising and hosting the great event.

HOSPICE FUNDRAISER: CLOONACOOL 5K:

25 DRIVE:

over €630,000 raised nationally which will go towards providing humanitari­an and developmen­t programmes for people across the world facing the devastatin­g impact of disease, climate change and conflict. The 2023 Senior awards night will be held in McDermott’s, Castlebald­win on Saturday, March 9 at 9pm where they will present the Senior Div 1 league medals along with Player of the year awards. Fr James Mc Donagh will perform a live concert in the Coleman Music Centre, Gurteen on Sunday, March 10 at 8pm. Riverstown Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann presents Fergus Bogue, Ademar O’Connor, Gearoid McNamara and Daire Smith in concert on Saturday, March 9 in the Morrison Cottage, Riverstown at 8.30pm.
