OWENMORE GAELS GAELIC FOOTBALL NURSERY:

25 CARD GAME FOR KIDS:

Ballinacar­row NS Parent Associatio­n is holding a 25 card game for children 7+ in the Ballinacar­row Community Centre on Sunday, February 18from 10am11am (or after mass), we are inviting anyone from the ages of seven and up who wants to learn how to play 25 to come join us. Admission Free. Parent supervisio­n essential.

The annual Achonry Pioneer Dinner Dance will be held tomorrow, Friday at

We continue our campaign to keep our community a poster free area. We have noted in recent times posters being erected at our landscaped roundabout which is of some concern. Our community does not want such littering our area. We continue to request all posters be removed.

Now that the dark evenings have arrived perhaps it is a good time to think of our elderly or living alone neighbors and give them a telephone call to let them know you are thinking of them and available to assist if needed.,

REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE CAMPAIGN:

We are appealing to all Carraroe residents to join the campaign to reduce use of paper, packaging and recycle as much as possible. Your efforts no matter how small will assist the environmen­t and reduce our national carbon footprint. Remember every little individual effort counts. Promote the campaign by displaying Carraroe car sticker available from 0892459123.

We appreciate the management of Applegreen Shop Carraroe for facilitati­ng our community. We want to thank residents of Carraroe for the respectful use of the Recycling Banks to date. Do not leave rubbish beside the bins. Please note the facility is monitored by recorded CCTV. 24/7.

Our community Spring Clean is registered to take place on Saturday, March 23– more details later. All residents are asked to keep the date free to ensure we give our area good clean up for the summer.
