TUBBERCURR­Y TIDY TOWNS:

Tubbercurr­y Tidy Towns is looking for general volunteers & volunteers who are happy help out with any aspect of Tidy Towns work all year round. They particular­ly need people to get involved in weeding and gardening but also welcome people with skills in biodiversi­ty, preparing plans, landscapin­g, cutting grass and composting and keeping all areas litter free etc.

Days and times vary so there is scope for the volunteer to be flexible about hours and days they will volunteer.

Losume is a non-profit App to challenge online-shopping by simplifyin­g product-sourcing from local stores for loyal local consumers. Vitality in towns and villages is being challenged by big-online. Their mission is to help

LOSUME ORG:

As a Play Volunteer, your role will be to support child led play and create a play environmen­t for children during their time in hospital. You will work as a part of a pair and will have support from nursing and play staff at the hospital. BOYLE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE:

Volunteers will be asked to collect food from nominated supermarke­ts in Carrick on Shannon, Castlerea and Sligo Town and deliver them to Boyle Family Resource Centre on the same day. Volunteers will be notified on the morning of the collection with an afternoon collection time slot provided. Collection­s will take place MonThurs. They are hoping to establish a group of volunteers to divide the collection­s between. Volunteers must have access to their own car and have the relevant drivers licence and insurance for driving in Ireland.
