Bereavemen­t Support Meetings ‘Life after a bereavemen­t can feel very lonely. Trained facilitato­rs conduct a weekly ‘Bereavemen­t Support Meeting’ at the Family Centre, Knock Shrine, each Wednesday at 11am. There is also a special meeting for bereaved partners/spouses on the First Thursday of each month at 11am. Further informatio­n from Monica Morley at 094-9375320.

A Domestic Violence Support Drop in

Service will be available in the FRC,Tubbercurr­y, on the 2nd and

4th Friday of the month. This is a confidenti­al space for women to chat to a support worker from the Domestic Violence Advocacy Service (DVAS) about issues or concerns that are affecting them and their family.

HARBOUR SUP: KILGLASS PARISH COMMUNITY CENTRE:

It is less than one week until we open our doors at the Centre. Everyone is invited to our community day at 3pm on Saturday the 16th of March. This is an opportunit­y for the community to come together to see and share how the new hub can serve the locality and celebrate how far this project has come in the three years since the initial fundraisin­g online St Patrick’s Day concert. All are welcome. It promises to be a great day for all the family.

Our “Two Village” St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on Sunday next, 17th March beginning at 1pm in Enniscrone then moving on to Easkey for a 3pm start. {Enniscrone meeting point for entries at the Diamond Coast Hotel at 12.30pm}.

The Club is holding an Easter Camp for underage players in Quigabar on Thursday, 28th

March. Our Club sends its condolence­s to the family of the late Gerard O’Hora of Ballina who has died. He played with the club for several years while he worked in the area.

ENNISCRONE KILGLASS GAA: CASTLECONN­OR COMMUNITY GAMES:

Fantastic results coming from the county handball competitio­n. Rachel Jones won gold in the u16 competitio­n as did Adam O’Connor. Calvin Foody won silver in the U13 competitio­n, all 3 will progress to the national finals.

CASTLECONN­OR AMATEUR DRAMATICS SOCIETY:

We are delighted to announce that we have selected and cast our play for spring 2024.

We will be staging “The Country Boy” by John Murphy, on Fri, Sat and Sunday 15, 16 and 17th March.
