Well done to all the children who took part in Riverstown community games Draughts and Chess competitio­ns which took place recently in Ardkeeran NS. The following are medal winners: U10 Mixed Draughts: 1st Odin Gray Woulfe, 2nd Patrick Gilligan and 3rd Naoise Shields. U12 Mixed Draughts: 1st Frankie Willis and 2nd Emma Shields. U14 mixed draughts: Joint 1st Aaron, Hogan, Adam Williams and Kate Murrin. U11 Mixed Chess 1st Shea McGrath, 2nd Odin Gray Woulfe, 3rd Karl Galvin, Michael McLoughlin and Emma Shields. U13 Mixed Chess:

U13 Chess teams will now go on to represent Riverstown on Thursday, April 11 in Ballisodar­e Secondary School at 6pm. Community Games Art competitio­n will take place on Friday, April 12 at 6pm in Ardkeeran NS. Handwritin­g and Model-making will take place on Sunday, April

Ceoltóirí Coleman Concert & Special Guests on Saturday, March 23 at 8pm. Always a great night, without a doubt this concert will be a lively one with music, song and dance. FREE CONCERT:

The

Riverstown Annual tractor run will take place on Easter Monday, April 1, at 2pm sharp. Registrati­on open from 12.30 in Riverstown Community Park. All makes, size and age of vehicles welcome: tractors, motorbikes, vintage cars and trucks. There will be a raffle and lots of spot prizes, free children's raffle and goodie bags. Refreshmen­ts will be available at Riverstown Teach Ceoil. Prize for best dressed driver. All proceeds will be distribute­d to Riverstown Tidy Towns, Riverstown Community Games and Riverstown Community First Responder Training. Entry fee €20. Life after a bereavemen­t can be very lonely. Trained facilitato­rs conduct weekly Bereavemen­t Support Meetings at the Family Centre, Knock Shrine each Wednesday at 11am. The Want2Walk Walking Group supported by Tubbercurr­y FRC have organised a series of walks on Wednesday mornings in various locations in South Sligo.

25 CARD DRIVE:

Haran with Curry club man James McDonagh part of the back room team pushing the buttons. It was a wonderful sight to see the trophy being walked across the county border at Bellaghy into own county Sligo with so many waiting for them there and the sky lifting and shaking from the cheering and sing song It was a real community affair as the Garda Siochána whisked them along on their journey from the border a joyous night shared by all.

All the dough raised the proceeds will go towards to the school. Feel free to drop off your baked donations at the centre the evening before or on the morning of the sale.

The newest edition to Moylough Heitage Centre, is the TV which is now connected to Moylough Church for Service.Its a Smart

TV, connected to the Centres WIFI which is excellent, thanks to Shane Thornton and Westnet. The Hall can now be booked for meetings, training courses, demonstrat­ions and much more by contacting any member of the committee.
