Wedding Open Day at Sligo Park Hotel

-

SLIGO Park Hotel is hosting a spring Wedding Open Day on Sunday (April 21), allowing couples the opportunity to check out the venue's four-star facilities ahead of the summer wedding season.

The event runs from 1pm to 5pm and places are available by appointment only. Couples arriving at the award-winning hotel will be treated to canapés and drinks before being taken on a guided tour of the facilities by a member of the Sligo Park Hotel's wedding team.

Brides and grooms-to-be will be given a clear vision of what they can expect on their big day as the Sligo Park ballroom and luxurious Italian-made pergola will be fully dressed for a magical wedding day.

Earlier this year, the Sligo Park Hotel took home Bronze in the Grand Wedding Venue category at the Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Awards. It also took away Bronze in the Family Friendly Hotel category at the same ceremony. This followed receiving a Gold Medal at the IASI Accommodation Awards.

The hotel was also shortlisted as a finalist in two categories at the Weddingsonline Awards 2024 for Hotel Venue of the Year Connaught and Venue Co-ordinator of the Year Connaught.

Sligo Park Hotel Wedding Co-ordinator Orla Seery says:

“We're delighted to be hosting our Wedding Open Day on April 21 as it gives people a chance to see the Sligo Park Suite as it would be on their big day.

“We are always excited when the Open Day comes around as it allows us to showcase everything the hotel has to offer – from our stateof-the art leisure facilities to our 136 bedrooms and perfectly manicured lawns, which provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photography. We also have the new pergola for indoor and outdoor hosting, and the ballroom itself with its floor-to-ceiling windows and space for up to 220 guests.

“My advice to couples is to book their appointment for the Wedding Open Day in advance to ensure they don't miss this opportunity to see the hotel in its full wedding day splendour.”

Couples who wish to make an appointment can contact Orla on 07191 90442 or email weddings@leehotels.com.
