SENIORS ALARM SCHEME:
Giblin Marist Convent, Carrickon-Shannon and formerly of Charlestown. She was sister of the late Fr. Micheál Giblin who was a Curate in Gurteen Parish in the late seventies, May she rest in Peace.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered by Bishop Paul Dempsey on Sunday April 28 in Gurteen Church.
Welcomed in the Sacrament on Saturday last in St. Patrick's Church, Gurteen was Orla Patricia McCormack -daughter of Tara nee Murray and Aiden- sister to Joey and Naoise.
CONFIRMATION: RECENT BAPTISM:
Eastern Harps 50/50 draw on April 15 had a jackpot of €689 -and the winner was James Woods. The Club is very appreciative of all the support throughout the year.

The Queen Maeve Festival is a new exciting festival of music, culture and family events.
It is taking place from May
3 to May 5 in the new Queen Maeve Square in Sligo town. They need lots of general helper volunteers to help out over the couple of days, so if you have a few hours to spare please check out the role on i-Vol or get in touch with us.
QUEEN MAEVE FESTIVAL: DARKNESS INTO LIGHT SLIGO TOWN:
DIL is seeking volunteer stewards/marshals who can help with our Darkness into Light Event on Saturday 11th May 2024. Volunteers will meet at the Knocknarea Arena at Sligo IT at 3:10am and will marshal the route until 5 or 6am. Marshals will direct people at junctions, encourage people and hand out water if required. Refreshments will be provided. A very worthy cause.

Gran Fondo Cycling Event is coming to Sligo on the
