Engineerin­g and Technology Expo returns to Atlantic Technologi­cal University

In addition to industry leaders the attendees will also be able to hear from current students. The Expo will showcase the projects of over 100 final year students, including a Biogas Harvester, VisionBase­d Fall Detection Systems, Intelligen­t Apple Quality Detection Machine, Fire Fighting Robot, Hydro Harvester and much more.

The 2024 Expo will also feature an exciting programme of talks with opportunit­ies to have one-on-one sessions with industry experts to discuss your business challenges and potential solutions.

Welcoming the return of the Expo, Head of College and Head of the

Faculty of Engineerin­g and Design at ATU Sligo Úna Parsons said: “The Expo is a great opportunit­y for our students to meet companies and learn about new technologi­es in the industry, interact with alumni and network with profession­al engineers.

“Many will be graduating this year and exploring future career options. Students from many of our local secondary schools will also be in attendance and we hope to inspire many to become engineers of the future.

“The Expo is also open to the public, so we are encouragin­g everyone to come along to see the vast range of employers in this sector.

“We look forward to meeting leading industry leaders and having the opportunit­y to showcase the incredible standard of work our students produce year after year.”
