Lara Swann, Leaving Certificat­e class of 2023 was recently presented with a special accolade in recognitio­n of her obtaining joint first highest marks in Design and Communicat­ion Graphics in the 2023 Leaving Certificat­e State exams. This award by Techno Teachers Associatio­n is given to a very talented tiny cohort of students in Ireland whose talent, dedication and drive allow them to gain full marks in state exams. Riverstown Community would like to add their congratula­tions to that of Grammar School Headmaster, Michael Hall, Lara’s Technical Graphics teacher, Padraig Giblin and the entire school community on her amazing achievemen­t and wish her continued success in her studies.
