Safe Pass is a one-day safety awareness training programme that ensures workers have a basic understanding of health and safety protocols on construction sites. It aims to reduce workplace accidents and inMuries by promoting safe practices among employees. The programme covers essential topics such as risk assessment, site safety legislation, using personal protective eTuipment and manual handling.

Anyone who wants to work on a construction site must complete the training programme and get a Safe Pass registration card before they can start work. This includes craft and general construction workers, apprentices, trainees, and on-site security workers.

An employer in the construction sector may arrange the training for you. If not, or if you are not yet employed, you can apply by contacting an approved Safe Pass tutor on the Safe Pass Accredited Tutors register. 1. 5etake the one-day training programme, or

. Sit a -minute computer-based test.

The renewal test can be booked online and costs ¼ 3.8 . Again, your employer may cover the cost of this.
