You will need:

2 average-sized slices

of fresh pineapple 250ml (9fl oz) coconut water or

light coconut milk Pinch of ground turmeric 2 stalks of summer kale, juiced

Juice of 1 small lime Chop the pineapple up, even the skin and the core, and add everything to a

high-speed blender. Add the coconut water or light coconut milk, whichever you’re using, the pinch of ground turmeric, the summer kale juice and the lime

juice. Blend until sumptuously frothy. Strain through a sieve, and collect the rich

nectar in a bowl underneath. You can ditch the fibrous part from the sieve. Pour into pre-chilled glasses with

lots of ice and dinky straws. I made this Pina Kale-ada for Jamie Oliver and

his crew on Drinks Tube, his special YouTube channel. I’d love you to watch the lesson online.

I actually look like a flipping pineapple.
