CARDAMOM COFFEE AND TURMERIC MILK
You will need: 6 green cardamom pods Approximately 300g (10 ½ oz) freshly ground coffee 2 pinches of ground turmeric Milk, to serve (optional)
Tenderly bash open the green cardamom pods using the base of a wine bottle or a pestle (being careful not to scare the bejaysus out of the budgie). Mix the bashed-up cardamom into your freshly ground coffee and store the mixture in the fridge, until your caffeine fangs surface. At this point, make your coffee as you normally would (espresso, Americano, French press, Turkish pot). Through a baby sieve, parachute some ground turmeric on top of your lovingly prepared coffee. Cardamom coffee also tastes gorgeous with warmed almond milk or regular milk.
