Indian food

Sunday Independent (Ireland) - Life - - APPETITES -

Kat and Alfie were over the moon, if you will forgive the pun, on a recent visit to one of my favourite restaurants, Nisheeth Tak’s splendid Rasam Indian Restaurant in Glasthule, Co Dublin.

Actors Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace (pictured above with Nisheeth Tak), who play Kat and Alfie Moon in

were in Ireland for the filming of a spin-off series that’s set in Dunmore East, Co Waterford, where the tempestuous couple are searching for Kat’s long-lost son.

Whatever about finding the missing son, the pair certainly know how to find good food.

Chowing down on a Rasam starter platter of squid, duck roll, pork plus jumbo prawns, followed by chicken and

mushrooms, Jessie told Nisheeth, “I’m from London and we have Indian restaurants on every corner, but this is the best Indian food I have had”. I can’t disagree with that. See
