TATTYREAGH of Tyrone made it through to the Ulster Club IFC semifinals with a narrow 3-11 to 2-13 win, over Armagh champions St Peter’s at the Athletic Grounds last night.

James Darcy’s early goal helped the Red Hand champions to a four points lead, but Ferghal Moore then fired in a St Peter’s goal.

Tattyreagh, with the wind at their backs, grabbed a second goal through Jarleth McDonagh to lead by 2-8 to 1-6 at the break. Gareth Mimnagh punched home Tattyreagh’s third goal in the 51st minute, and they held on for a slender win, St Peter’s goal coming deep into stoppage time from a Shea Geraghty penalty. Niall McConville’s six points haul was not enough to rescue the Orchard men.
