ST ENDA’S brought the Ulster Club IFC title to Antrim for the first time last night with a four-point win, 2-11 to 1-10, over Cavan champions Mullahoran at the Athletic Grounds.

Peter Healy sent his brother Kristian in for a goal after ten minutes, helping St Enda’s to a 1-5 to 0-5 interval lead, with Enda O’Reilly kicking three Mullahoran scores.

Cormac O’Reilly smashed a shot against the crossbar early in the second half when a goal would have levelled the game, but Glengormley men countered instantly for man for the match Joe Maskey to hit the net for a six-point lead.

O’Reilly’s penalty goal in stoppage time came too late to rescue the Breffni champions’ title challenge.
