January sales may be nearly over but there is still some very tempting offers for new buyers, writes Geraldine Herbert

NOW is a good time to buy a BMW as for a limited time only, BMW Ireland are offering savings of up to €6,000 on new models delivered before March 31 2017.

The French car maker Citroën are luring potential buyers with low finance and scrappage and, unlike many similar offers, you can avail of both. Scrappage is offered on every passenger car across the range but the amount available depends on the model.

There is a low-rate finance of 3pc on the New C3, with 4.9pc available across the rest of the range. Until the end of January, if you buy a new C3 you can get a free Style Pack and a €500 Dunnes Stores voucher, while on the C4 Cactus there is a free equipment offer worth €1,450, which includes free panoramic roof, free Habana leather and Cloth Highlight pack.

Dacia are offering zero deposit and 4.9pc APR on PCPs with Dacia Bank across the range, including Duster, Sandero, Stepway and Logan for 171 buyers, while the French car maker DS are offering 4.9pc finance and three years free servicing across the range.

Available until March, Fiat buyers will have the chance to opt for a higher trim level with more must-have equipment for €171.

Savings can be made across the range and include the 500, which can be upgraded from the entry-level Pop trim to Pop Star level for just €171, adding more than €900 worth of extras including 15” alloy wheels, air conditioni­ng, electrical­ly adjustable painted door mirrors and split-folding (50/50) rear seat with head restraints.

Fiat is also offering competitiv­e finance packages, including a 5.9pc APR PCP and 6.9pc APR hire purchase, available across their entire range.

Ford has a range of offers as part of their ‘171 Real Deal’ sales event, including reductions on a host of models and a low finance offer of zero per cent until the end of January.

The Ford Fiesta Titanium has been reduced by €3,000, the EcoSport by up to €3,850, the Focus Titanium by up to €3,750, while the top-of-the-range Kuga Titanium+ is offered with a reduction of up to €4,250 and there is €2,200 off the Mondeo Titanium+. The new ST-Line specially produced versions of the Fiesta, Focus, Mondeo and Kuga are also available with a ‘Real Deal’ price discount or the 0pc finance offer.

Honda’s ‘Simple Logic’ deal has been extended to the end of January and is available on the Jazz, HR-V and CR-V. You can choose from a €4,000 guaranteed minimum trade-in offer on
