Uptight FBI agent Ashburn is sent to Boston on the hunt for an elusive drug dealer. While there she is partnered with foul-mouthed, unconventi­onal cop Mullins, and although the pair have polar opposite approaches to their work, they will have to learn to get along if they are to crack the case. ouiJa (2014) Channel 4, 12.05am Horror, starring Olivia Cooke, Ana Coto and Daren Kagasoff. A young girl is killed in mysterious circumstan­ces after she films herself playing with an ominous ouija board. A close group of friends want to find out what really happened, and decide to interact with the board themselves. However, they soon learn that they have awoken a powerful evil that will not be satisfied until they’re all dead.

MONDAY

non-stop (2014) RTE2, 9pm Thriller, starring Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore and Scoot McNairy. US air marshal Bill Marks is travelling on a flight from New York to London when he receives an anonymous message demanding $150million, or a passenger will be killed every 20 minutes. It’s now a race against time to figure out who is behind the deadly threat. MiDnigHt in paris (2011) TG4, 9.30pm Woody Allen’s comedy, starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen. Screenwrit­er Gil, who is struggling with his first novel, travels to Paris with his partner Inez. However, instead of spending time with Inez and her parents, he finds himself caught up in a magical part of the city that transports him back to the 1920s to meet his literary heroes. Kathy Bates and Kurt Fuller also star. above tHe law (1988) ITV4, 10pm Action, starring Steven Seagal, Pam Grier and Henry Silva. Unorthodox cop Nico Toscani attempts to take down a deadly drugs cartel, which brings him face-to-face with a corrupt CIA agent who has connection­s to his past in Vietnam. The two become locked in a deadly battle which only one of them will walk away from.

TUESDAY

Dr seuss’ tHe lorax (2012) Film4, 12.45pm Animation, with the voices of Zac Efron and Taylor Swift. Young Ted lives in a completely artificial city. He finds out that the girl of his dreams has one wish, to see a real tree. So Ted risks life and limb to travel outside of his walled home to track one down in a bid to win her affection. It is there that he encounters the story of the Lorax, a remarkable creature whose tale will help him. Days of tHunDer (1990) Sky1, 9pm Tony Scott’s action, starring Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman (below) and Robert Duvall. Hotheaded young stock car racer Cole Trickle looks to make it to the big leagues, but when the opportunit­y to race for NASCAR arises, his headstrong attitude sees him clash with not just the competitio­n, but also his teammates and the woman he is trying to win over. raMbo: first blooD part ii (1985) ITV4, 10pm Action sequel, starring Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna and Charles Napier. John Rambo’s time in prison is cut short by his former superior, Colonel Samuel Troutman. He offers him a chance at freedom — all he has to do is lead a top-secret mission to the one place he never wants to see again: Vietnam.

tHe Hangover part iii (2013) ITV2, 9pm

Director Todd Phillips reunites with stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianak­is, Justin

Bartha and Ed Helms for the final part of the comedy trilogy. The Wolfpack is brought back together to help Alan get over the death of his father. However, things take a turn when Doug is kidnapped due to the gang’s past encounters with Mr Chow. Now they have to track down the sneaky criminal and hand him over if they are to be reunited with Doug... again. Ken Jeong also stars. lone survivor (2013) RTE1, 9.35pm Tense drama, starring Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch and Emile Hirsch. A team of Navy SEALS, lead by Marcus Luttrell, are sent far behind enemy lines to track

Derek Cianfrance’s crime drama, starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley

Cooper and Eva Mendes. The lives of a motorcycle racer — who is desperate to make sure his former lover and child get by — and an ambitious police officer become intertwine­d, leading to a game of cat and mouse.

Hall pass (2011) ITV2, 9pm The Farrelly Brothers’ comedy, starring Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis and Christina Applegate. Fred and Rick are friends who are both going through rough patches in their marriages. However, they are shocked when their wives give them hall passes — permission to go and do whatever they want for one week with no strings

attached. riDDick (2013) Film4, 9pm Sci-fi action, starring Vin Diesel, Jordi Molla, Dave Bautista and Katee Sackhoff. Wanted mercenary Riddick is left for dead on a hazardous alien planet. He accidental­ly sets off a beacon, alerting two different groups of bounty hunters to his location, and must use his cunning and survival skills to dispose of them and make it off the planet.

FrIDAY

and John Finnegan. A family of mice are emigrating from Europe to America, when their young son, Fievel, gets separated. Now he must negotiate this strange new world in order to find his family again. sHrek (2001) Film4, 4.35pm

Classic animation, with the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz and

John Lithgow. The titular ogre and his companion Donkey are sent on a mission by the evil Lord Farquaad to retrieve Princess Fiona from a dragonguar­ded castle. In exchange for the ogre’s services the lord will have the fairytale creatures who are squatting on Shrek’s swampy home removed. tHe Host (2013) E4, 9pm Sci-fi adventure, starring Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons and Jake Abel. Melanie’s life takes a turn when, during a secret invasion of Earth, an alien known as a Soul connects itself to her, and is able to feel her deepest emotions. Melanie and the parasite, Wanderer, have a conflict of interest about who she should be with: boyfriend Jared or Ian, who the alien has grown fond of.

Action comedy, with Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich. Retired CIA agent Frank Moses has his quiet life

ruined when false informatio­n about an old mission is leaked. Now he and his rag-tag team have to avoid the operatives that are out to kill them and unravel the mystery behind a stolen nuclear device. Doug Kinney finds it hard to split his time between his work, family and personal life, but a geneticist approaches him with a possible solution: cloning.
