Escape to the Chateau, Channel 4, 8pm Dick and Angel Strawbridg­e are back for a fourth series all about their fairytale French abode. Three years ago, the colourful pair swapped their flat in Southend for a dilapidate­d 19th-century chateau in the Loire. While they’ve made great progress, there is still an awful lot to do. Here, Dick and Angel have seven wedding bookings and 14 food lovers’ weekends to prepare for. There’s also the garden, the stables and the back staircase to attend to.

Endeavour, be3, 8pm It’s the last in the current series of the crime drama, starring Shaun Evans and Roger Allam. The disappeara­nce of a public school teacher tests the titular detective’s investigat­ive skills. Meanwhile, the ongoing investigat­ion into Oxford’s criminal underworld proves deadly.

13 Commandmen­ts, Channel 4, 10.05pm Hypnotic Belgian crime drama from the Walter Presents strand. A serial killer uses the Ten Commandmen­ts as a blueprint for a series of gruesome murders. Proclaimin­g himself as a modern prophet, he wants his acts to restore moral standards. However, despite the brutality of his crimes, he becomes more and more popular with the public. On the tail of the elusive killer is jaded detective Peter Devriendt and his ambitious new partner Vicky Degraeve. When a 16-yearold Turkish girl is murdered, all clues point to her uncle but with no proof, the man walks away. However, one day later, events take a shocking turn.

MONDAY

The Funeral Murders, BBC2, 9pm

This special by acclaimed filmmaker Vanessa Engle follows the dramatic series of events that took place at two funerals in Belfast in March 1988. Thirty years on, the people connected to the events give their perspectiv­e. On March 6, three members of the Provisiona­l IRA on a mission in Gibraltar were shot dead by the SAS. At their triple funeral 10 days later, loyalist paramilita­ry Michael Stone opened fire in the cemetery using guns and grenades which killed three people, including IRA member Kevin Brady and injured 60 others. At Brady’s funeral three days later, two British army corporals, Derek Wood and David Howes were attacked and killed by some members of the crowd, who thought they were loyalist paramilita­ries. Featuring previously unheard testimony as well as archive footage.

Don’t Tell the Bride, RTE2, 9.30pm It’s the last in the series of the addictive fly-on-the-wall look at a groom’s attempt to pull off the perfect big day. Here, David is organising a winter wonderland wedding for Charlotte. The couple met five years ago on a night out in Toronto. They’ve since settled in Athenry with their two kids, Lincoln and Tiffany. Charlotte loves fashion while Dave is a rugby fanatic. He is also partial to the finer things in life. Will his ice-themed day leave his bride to be frozen?

Electric Dreams, Channel 4, 10pm Final episode of the sci-fi anthology series, based on Philip K Dick’s short stories. Following a shocking statement by a politician, a man’s body hangs from a billboard and the gruesome sight is greeted with apathy by passers-by. When a man named Philbert Noyce dares to question the murder, he becomes an instant target. Starring Mel Rodriguez, Vera Farmiga and Sarah Baker.

TUESDAY

Home of the Year, RTE1, 8.30pm It’s the fourth edition of the series which champions individual­ity, creativity and commitment to design. Tonight, viewers get a peek inside three homes in west Cork, south Dublin and Co Wicklow. Margaret and Mark Conway are proud of their home, which was inspired by Fastnet Rock Lighthouse. Katrina and Adam Carroll have put their stamp on their ‘vintage cottage chic’ semidetach­ed home while Emma Lynch makes the most of the stunning views in her home which nods to Swedish simplicity.

Shetland, BBC1, 9pm The bleak crime drama reaches its thrilling conclusion and two worlds collide for Perez as he closes in on the truth. He brings murder suspect Duncan into the station for questionin­g, but Perez knows he’s not telling the truth. As things look bleak for Duncan, an old photo puts another suspect in the frame for Lizzie’s murder. Perez is thrown a curve ball when he receives a call from McCabe concerning a vengeful Malone who has been seen with a shotgun. Douglas Henshall stars.

Stetsons & Stilettos, RTE1, 7pm Country music speaks to people from all walks of life and in this episode we meet jiving priests and singing reverends who are religious about country beats. Will their passion encourage more to join their flocks?

WEDNESDAY

Grow Cook Eat, RTE1, 7.30pm In this series which looks at how we can live off the land, the focus is on the modest, delicious tomato. While it’s certain that a little TLC is required to grow them, the taste is definitely worth it. Presenter Michael Kelly visits Grantstown Nurseries in Ballygunne­r, Co Waterford, to learn how to grow the tomato on a commercial scale.

The Secret Helpers, BBC2, 8pm Five-part series about 10 people about to embark on one of the most challengin­g weeks of their lives. An Irish nun, a traditiona­l healer, a couple of retired cops and a Swedish yogi watch an individual going about their difficult week as they guide their charges, via modern technology, towards their big event, whether it’s a wedding, the first week of fatherhood or a business launch. In this opener, Dan, left blinded and in pain after suffering two massive strokes, is in dire need of help from the kindly strangers as he prepares to marry his girlfriend Suzy.

Brendan O’Connor’s Cutting Edge, RTE1, 9.35pm The straight-talking host is back with the big news stories hitting the headlines, as well as a smattering of lesser-known stories that are flying under the radar. This week’s sparkling panellists include Christy Dignam, Mary O’Rourke and Brenda Power who will debate the issues on everyone’s minds.

THURSDAY

Big Cats Around the House, BBC2, 8pm Giles Clark returns to the UK to run the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent, which hopes to build into a centre of global excellence. Here, he attends a young black jaguar cub who has been neglected. At the sanctuary, Giles has the wellbeing of 50 cats on his hands, and wants them to become examples to their wild cousins. He also travels to Cambodia where he sees the problems faced by clouded leopards.

SEAL Team, Sky One, 9pm Action-packed US drama starring David Boreanaz and Jessica Pare. An elite unit charged with some of the most dangerous missions is led by Jason Hayes. Here, CIA liaison officer Mandy Ellis gets intel on a known terrorist and the team are flown to Liberia. There, they are joined by a rookie and things quickly go south.

Hardy Bucks, RTE2, 10.35pm The Hardy Bucks are back and life is a bed of roses for Eddie Durkan. He’s living free of charge in Buzz’s house and his nymphomani­ac girlfriend Ciara is staying a few nights a week. However, Ciara is unimpresse­d with his living arrangemen­ts and wants them to move in together. She brokers a saucy deal to encourage him to do her bidding, putting him in an awkward position — should he choose his demanding girlfriend over his generous best mate?

FRIDAY

Jamestown, Sky1, 9pm Finale of the glossy period drama about English settlers in America in 1617. With Massinger dead, Jocelyn uses her wit to get hold of the town. However, when she apprehends some sought-after land, she makes an enemy of Yeardley. Bent on revenge, he enlists the help of the marshal, and hatches a cruel plan to both destroy Jocelyn and tear the Sharrows apart. Naomi Battrick and Max Beesley stars.

The Last Leg, Channel 4, 10pm The curtain falls on the current run of the award-winning satirical show. Regular hosts Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe take a swipe at the biggest new stories doing the rounds. They are also joined by an energetic live audience and opinionate­d guests from the worlds of comedy, entertainm­ent and politics.

SATURDAY

Ireland’s Got Talent, TV3, 7pm Lucy Kennedy hosts the talent competitio­n judged by Louis Walsh, Michelle Visage, Jason Byrne and Denise Van Outen. Tonight, six acts will perform in the first-ever live final. The seventh is a wildcard chosen by the judges from the pool of unsuccessf­ul competitor­s from the semi-final. The winner will receive a handsome cheque for 50,000 Euro and will host their own TV show. There is also a very special guest performanc­e, before the overall winning act with the most public votes is announced.

Mosaic, Sky Atlantic, 10pm Make yourself comfortabl­e for the thrilling finale of Steven Soderbergh’s critically-acclaimed twisting and turning murder mystery mini-series set in Park City, Utah. Tonight, Petra (Jennifer Ferrin) is on dangerous ground as she attempts to solve the Mosaic puzzle, but she is struggling to establish what is real and what isn’t.
